This was his opinion then which alters greatly from the shite he is spouting now:

“That isn’t an ideology, it isn’t even a perverted faith – it is just an indiscriminate attempt at mass murder and we know what the objective is. They seek to divide Londoners. They seek to turn Londoners against each other.”

Ok then comma

Back to the point, why didn't Livingstone come out with all this when Mayor and promoting 2012?

Boris was mayor AT 2012. Livingstone was mayor when we were awarded them in 2005..

Re: Livingstone at it again
As regards milking 2012 I think you'll find politicians who had nothing to do with the winning of the event actually did the most milking. And we all know their names.

Re: Livingstone at it again
He was mayor when 2012 was won and when money was changing hands for contracts

Re: Livingstone at it again
Er, he was not Mayor in 2012 it was Doris.

Re: Livingstone at it again
Why didn't Ken come out with all of this when he was Mayor and milking 2012 for all its worth?

Answer - because he is an irrelevant hypocrite trying to get attention.

Well it's not up to date anyway as Australia has banned anyone even scholars from having contacts with terror groups in response to 9/11

Yeah it is, but it goes to show this issue with Iraq and the middle east and the enmity between the two cultures is a lot deeper than recent history. Hatred may go a lot deeper for reasons a lot older than most give credit for.

Yes, it would have had more cachet if it was co authored by someone more western don't you think?

I love WHO.

The guy's got a distinguished 40 year academic record but his work can't be trusted because he doesn't sound western enough.

Re: Livingstone at it again
The west wasn't in Iraq before 9/11 though, so what reason did these suicide bombers have then

Well they were in Iraq before but that was in response to Saddam invading Kuwait, I don't get what these reasons for becoming a suicide bomber or an aeroplane suicide pilot, comes from
